This painting is the companion piece to the one of Dave Dornan below. This one is quite a bit smaller. I wanted to not only do a portrait of Dave but a painting of him working. If you have ever watched him make a painting you are well aware of how entertaining and effective his approach is. I finished these two up about 2 years ago.

The Painter in Studio 2009
This painting is the companion piece to the one of Dave Dornan below. This one is quite a bit smaller. I wanted to not only do a portrait of Dave but a painting of him working.
